Current Job Opportunities

Kentucky River Foothills Development Council, Inc. has an immediate opening for a FT Grants Compliance Specialist. Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required. Applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations and requirements that govern grants administration. Prior experience in federal and state grants management strongly preferred. Must be well-organized, accurate, and detail-orientated, and have the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing. Primary Care Physician/Medical Director
Primary Care Physician/Medical Director needed for rural health clinic providing primary health care. The clinic is located in Clay City, Kentucky which is 45 minutes from Lexington and 10 minutes from Natural Bridge State Park. The clinic (Foothills Health and Wellness Center) is a Federally Qualified Health Center offering a new state of the art facility as well as medical malpractice coverage through the Federal Torts Claim Act, opportunities for student loan repayment, state (CERS) retirement benefits along with a complete dental, medical and paid leave package. Flexible 32 hour work week. Minimum 5 years experience in primary care of adults and children. No hospital care or on call duties required. Clay City, KY is a friendly community with a very low crime rate and cost of living. It is located minutes from the Daniel Boone National Forest, Natural Bridge State Park, and Cave Run Lake. These areas boast hiking, fishing, boating, biking, horseback riding, camping, rock climbing and other outdoor adventures. Lexington, Kentucky’s second largest metropolitan city, is located only 45 minutes away. Lexington offers a wide array of retail, entertainment, cultural, and sporting venues. The Lexington Center is home to Kentucky Wildcats Men’s Basketball Team and hosts large scale concerts and conventions. Three public universities (University of Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky University, and Morehead State University) as well as several campuses of the Kentucky Community & Technical College System are located within 45 minutes of Clay City. Liberty Place Recovery Center for Women has immediate openings for Safe Off the Streets (SOS) Monitors (PRN) to conduct initial screening and supervision of clients including facility safety checks. Position is “as needed” to include weekend hours. No set schedule or hours guaranteed. High School Diploma or GED required. If in recovery, two years of continuous sobriety and working an active recovery program is required. Persons completing a recovery center program may be considered for employment with less than two years of sobriety.
