Current Job Opportunities

Transportation Operations Coordinator
Full-time (40 hours per week), exempt position available. The Transportation Operations Coordinator plans, directs, and coordinates the transportation operations within the agency’s transportation department. Acts as a liaison between the Transportation Director and Transportation Staff. Directs activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation department vehicles and driver/operators. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must be highly organized and detail oriented. Valid Kentucky Driver’s License required. It is strongly encouraged that a commercial driver’s license be secured within the first six months of employment. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to bend and use full range of motion while lifting parts and supplies. Must be familiar with mobile communication devices, vehicle maintenance and all aspects of transportation. In addition to offering a comprehensive benefit package, the agency participates in the County Employees Retirement System (CERS) which is operated by the Kentucky Retirement System. Phase II/Transitions Coordinator
Liberty Place Recovery Center for Women
Responsibilities: Coordinates, plans, and implements the program content of Phase II of the recovery program. Responsible for assisting clients in transition with legal issues, family, housing, employment, and other areas related to aftercare planning. Familiarity with women’s issues (parenting, domestic violence, etc.) and chemical dependency recovery preferred. If in recovery, two years sobriety and active participation in personal recovery program required. Ability to work with persons in a manner that shows sensitivity to cultural diversity, sexual orientation, and racial/ethnic differences required. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree in a relevant field preferred. General Operations Manager
Liberty Place Recovery Center for Women
Full-Time position (37.5 hours per week)
Responsibilities: Oversees, plans, coordinates, and directs day to dayadministrative, food service, property management operations, and activities forthe center. Duties include supervision of administrative staff, budgetary tasks,billing, facility maintenance, compliance, and safety. In coordination with theProgram Director, this position will also be responsible for volunteer recruitment,screening, training and supervision as well as coordination of fundraisingactivities.Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required, College degree ina relevant field preferred. Familiarity with women’s issues (parenting, domesticviolence, etc.) and chemical dependency treatment preferred. Family Services Specialist
Kentucky River Foothills’ Head Start has an opening in Powell county for a Family Services Specialist. Degree in Social Work, Family Studies, or related field preferred. Early Head Start Teacher
Kentucky River Foothills’ Head Start has an opening for a full-time Early Head Start Teacher in Madison County. Infant/Toddler CDA required. IECE or other degree related to early childhood education preferred. Agency policies regarding background checks and drug screen apply to this position. Safe Off the Streets (SOS) Monitors
Liberty Place Recovery Center for Women has immediate openings for Safe Off the Streets (SOS) Monitors (PRN) to conduct initial screening and supervision of clients including facility safety checks. Position is “as needed” and may include weekend hours. School Diploma or GED required. If in recovery, two years of continuous sobriety and working an active recovery program is required. Persons completing a recovery center program may be considered for employment with less than two years of sobriety. Kentucky River Foothills’ Head Start is accepting applications for Substitute Teachers in Clark, Estill and Powell counties. A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood is preferred, a minimal of an Associate’s Degree for Head Start/CDA for Early Head Start is required.
