Current Job Opportunities

Kentucky River Foothills Head Start is accepting applications for a PT Education Aide in Laurel County. High School Diploma or GED required, CDA and relevant experience preferred. A drug test and criminal record check is required prior to employment. Kentucky River Foothills Health and Wellness Center is accepting applications for a Project Director in Powell County. Master’s Degree and relevant experience in healthcare administration, public health, social services, or other health related field required. Minimum three years’ experience directing or managing health or social service programs with administrative skills in personnel, financial management, planning, program evaluation, marketing, and advocacy. Additional relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements. The center provides a state of the art clinic that manages a wide array of services including primary care, mental health, substance abuse, nutrition, and case management. The Project Director oversees the direction of and day-to-day operations of the center. In performing supervisory responsibilities, the Director will work closely with the management team including the Fiscal and Medical Directors. The Director coordinates program activities, maintains working relationships with service providers, develops and maintains community support, coordinates developmental efforts, makes plans for additional services at the clinic, and develops strategic planning for the growth and success of the clinic. Must be licensed as a RN or LPN in the State of Kentucky and have three to five years experience as an emergency room, public health, critical care nurse, or in an independent judgment role with demonstrable physical assessment skills, preferably gained through formal course work. Kentucky River Foothills has an immediate opening for a FT Desktop Support Technician to assist with daily administration and monitoring of agency computer systems and servers. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must have knowledge of personal and technical computer application packages, and ability to troubleshoot hardware/software problems.
