Adult Day Care Aide

Location: Powell Adult Day Care | Powell County

Job Description:

Full-Time (M-F/ 37.5 hours per week)
$13.00 Per Hour/Non-Exempt

Summary of Qualifications: Must be able to assist program participants with all daily activities including assisting participants on and off the bus, transferring to and from chairs and wheelchairs, assisting with toilet needs, and providing assistance with snacks and meals. Will also be required to perform daily cleaning at the center and perform other in-home attendant care duties as required in implementing services to meet the needs of individual participants on a daily basis.

High School diploma or GED required. Experience working with the elderly preferred.

Must have a valid driver’s license and the flexibility and willingness to change schedules and duties as needed according to staff availability. Must be willing to travel the service area as needed and transport clients as needed. Travel is primarily local or within the service area (Powell County) during the business day. This position requires the ability to push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds and lift and/or exert force up to 150 pounds.
