Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

Location: Health & Wellness Center | Powell County

Job Description:

The APRN will be responsible for providing primary health care services, outreach, and advocacy for the homeless population. Health care services will include diagnosis and treatment of short-term and acute illness, preventive care, routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Two years broad-based professional nursing experience desired. Must be licensed in the state of Kentucky. DEA certified and Data waiver preferred. Non-profit experience helpful. Must have excellent communication skills (written, verbal, patient care) and the ability to exercise good judgement and sensitivity to patient needs. Must be proficient in most computer applications including electronic health records, and Microsoft Office.

Compensation: Non-Exempt/30-32 Hours Per Week
$50 – $54 per hour
Salary Based on Experience
