Powell Adult Day Care Director

Job Description:

Full-time/37.5 Hours Per Week/Exempt
$55,000 to $60,000 Annual Salary
(pay contingent on education and relevant experience)

Position Summary
Responsible for implementation and coordination of the Adult Day Care Program to include participant recruitment, program planning and activities. Functions as liaison with community agencies and provision of social services to program participants and their families, as needed. Must maintain awareness of program goals and ensure objectives are met. Responsible for hiring, and supervising employees and volunteers.  Must complete necessary program reports to include monthly billing as well as monitor program budget. Responsible for coordination of facility and grounds maintenance.

Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work with Excel, Word, Outlook, and program specific software and data-base systems required.

Must be licensed as a RN or LPN. Prior experience working with the elderly also required. Demonstrated management experience preferred.
