Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors is made up of dedicated volunteers who help make decisions that directly support low-income individuals and families in our communities.
Our Board of Directors is made up of dedicated volunteers who help make decisions that directly support low-income individuals and families in our communities.
We believe good governance can create real change. Our volunteer Board plays a key role in guiding Foothills by reviewing and approving all agency actions. The Board represents the whole community, including public officials, people experiencing poverty, and leaders from private organizations. Board members come from Clark, Estill, Madison, and Powell counties. They donate their time to support Foothills’ mission of helping families and individuals overcome poverty.
As a Community Action Agency, Kentucky River Foothills has a board made up of three groups. One-third of the Board represents low-income neighborhoods, one-third are public officials or their representatives, and one-third come from the private sector.
These groups help make sure our programs meet the real needs of the community, based on feedback from residents and our Community Assessment Plan.
