Child and Adult Food Program: KRFDC’s Eastern Scholar House Program and Adult Day Care participate in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) administered through the Kentucky Department of Education. CACFP plays a vital role in improving the quality of day care for children and elderly adults by making care more affordable for many low-income families. Meals are served at no separate charge to enrolled participants at the center and are provided without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
