Community Collaboration for Children
Community Collaboration for Children is a program designed to educate and empower families, guiding them towards building a healthy and sustainable future.
Our Community Collaboration for Children (CCC) program is all about supporting families to prevent child abuse and neglect while strengthening the family unit.
We focus on educating and empowering families by teaching problem-solving skills, appropriate discipline techniques, and self-sufficiency. CCC also coordinates community resources to provide a comprehensive support system.
Our Community Collaboration for Children (CCC) program powers families by providing:
Our staff offer short-term home-based intervention services for children from birth to age 18. Participating in CCC is entirely voluntary, and families need to consent after discussing the program’s services with the referral source. We aim to address children’s physical, mental, emotional, and educational needs, helping families prevent the removal of children from their homes and move toward long-term safety and stability.
In-Home Services: Tailored Support for Families
Our In-Home Service Specialists work closely with families to meet specific goals using the Nurturing Parenting Curriculum. These intensive, short-term interventions assist families in creating a safe and nurturing living environment. Referrals can come from community partners, DCBS, or through self-referral.
In-Home Services cover the Bluegrass Fayette Region (Fayette County), Bluegrass Rural Region (Clark, Boyle, Estill, Garrard, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, and Powell Counties), and KIPDA Rural Region (Anderson, Bullitt, Franklin, Henry, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble, and Woodford Counties).
Making a Referral: Contact and Information
To make a referral or check referral status, please complete one of the two forms below. Referrals are accepted from DCBS, community partners, self-referrals, or referrals made by friends or family. Referrals are processed in the order received, according to the region, on a waiting list.
CCC involves Regional Networks in the Bluegrass Fayette, Bluegrass Rural, and KIPDA Rural Regions. These networks, consisting of community partners and parents, work collaboratively to reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect. The primary goal is to raise awareness within local communities about the importance of preventing child abuse and neglect, contributing to child safety and family stability.
