kynect
We support local residents in navigating their healthcare coverage options under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as the healthcare law.
We are here to make sure individuals and small businesses have access to the health coverage they need. Our goal is to help families understand their health care options and choose the best plan for their needs.
We have trained professionals called kynectors who can assist you in obtaining affordable coverage or enrolling in programs like Medicaid, Kentucky Children’s Health Insurance Program (KCHIP), Qualified Health Care Plans (QHP), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).
Our kynectors provide education and enrollment assistance at no cost. Whether you’re looking for expanded Medicaid, Qualified Health Plans, or the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) for small businesses with 2-50 employees, we’re here to help. All plans in the Marketplace cover essential health benefits, such as doctor visits, hospital stays, emergency care, prescriptions, and care for pregnant women and children.
