Resource & Referral Specialist

Location: Community Services | Estill County

Job Description:

Non-Exempt Position/FT/37.5 Hours Per Week
$17.50 Per Hour

Provides direct client services, including utility assistance, rental assistance, service information, coordination, and referral. Responsible for community engagement and participation in other agency activities as assigned.

High School diploma required. Prior experience working with client population and knowledge of Community Action programs and local resources strongly preferred; must be proficient in most computer applications; including Microsoft Office (Internet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent oral and written communication skills required and must have the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize work efficiently.

 This project is funded, in part, under a contract with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services with funds from the Community Services Block Grant of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
