Kentucky River Foothills has teamed up with AARP to offer the upcoming “Fitness for Fifty+” event, a dynamic four-week series crafted to empower individuals on their journey to long-lasting health. Hosted by AARP Kentucky in collaboration with Dr. Dustin Jones, Doctor of Physical Therapy from StrongerLife Fitness, this series is tailor-made for Kentuckians 50-plus seeking to embrace vitality at every stage of life.

What to Expect:
Over four weeks, Dr. Jones will guide participants through essential components of physical health that are crucial for aging well. These 45-minute sessions aren’t just lectures – they’re interactive experiences designed to inform and empower.

Weekly Topics Include:
Strength, March 6 at 2 p.m.
Establish a robust foundation for your body with strength-building exercises.

Endurance, March 13 at 2 p.m.
Enhance your stamina and resilience with expert tips for improving endurance.

Balance, March 20 at 2 p.m.
Safeguard stability and prevent falls with specialized exercises to boost balance.

Mobility, March 27 at 2 p.m.
Maintain fluid movement and grace by focusing on mobility-enhancing exercises.
